Parking/Access Road Notes: small lot on Whipple Rd. Free. Doesn’t look like it gets much use.

Trail Maintenance Notes: large blow down on Col. Whipple, between the NWR boundary and the close approach to the RR tracks

Dog-Related Notes: good walk for Fido. Enters NWR, so check if leash is required.  
Bugs
Bugs: mosquitoes, black flies, horse flies, ticks. We found 10 wood ticks on us during the day

Comments: Col. Whipple has some very muddy sections along the logging road it follows.
Bog bridges nearer to the ponds are in good shape.
Hot hazy day for a low level hike.
Great views, and unique scenery at both Cherry and Little Cherry ponds.
