Comments
Comments: Sounds like Polo posted the same hike as us! We went up KRT to Cannon, down to Lonesome Lake via Hi-Cannon and Dodge Cutoff, and then took Lonesome Lake Trail and Pemi Trail to get back to our car at the Old Man parking lot. KRT is quite eroded as others have been saying. There is some snow up high, but all avoidable for the most part--we did not use traction at all. Hi-Cannon ladder is in good shape. We took some time to relax at Lonesome Lake Hut, where we met a wedding party!
