Parked at the Basin; spotted a bike at Lafayette. By midday, parking at trailheads near Lafayette Campground was full; Basin parking has few spots. |

A little high but doable with rock hopping. |

All trails had some blowdowns that need clearing. Especially on Franconia Ridge Trail between Liberty and Little Haystack. |

Mosquitoes at lower elevations. |

Very little ice. No traction needed. There was some monorail remaining, easily avoidable. |
