| Parking/Access Road Notes: |
As stated there is a sign to park 15' from hydrant and lines painted in both directions to show how far that is. A standard NO Parking sign is on the lawn. Not sure about that but parked at the overflow lot anyway to avoid any issue. You're hiking 9 miles a couple of hundred feet won't kill you. |

Saw three. There was some flowing water near summit but it is usually a fairly dry trail. |

Black flies found us when not moving even with the wind that was blowing pretty consistently. |

| Comments: |
Great day out with crisp, dry air and a comfortable wind. Trail, even with blowdowns is in very good shape. All the ledges were dry and easy ups and downs. There is some mud and log crossings in a few spots and the last push up to the summit had a tiny, easily avoided bit of snow/ice. There was water running on trail here and that was about it. |
