Water Crossing Notes: All were rock hops, but the large crossing at 1.1 miles required some careful planning.

Trail Maintenance Notes: About 7 large trees across the Liberty Spring Trail, all were easily stepped over.

Bugs: Black flies came out near the end of the hike late in the afternoon. None on the way up nor at the summit.

Comments: Trail is 100% snow and ice free. Hikers I met reported the same conditions on the Osseo Trail.
