Avoided the double crossing on York Pond by bushwhacking to the right as coming down the trail. |

Several blowdowns on Kilkenny Ridge Trail between Bunnell Notch and York Pond trails. A few more blowdowns on York Pond Trail plus on the Terrace Mt spur. |

Moderate black flies most of the time, wore a bug net on Terrace Mt and York Pond trails. |

Good trail conditions up to Cabot. We saw 25 people. It was nice talking to the people on the summit. The trip up over Terrace Mt is much more remote. The trail is much less traveled, but there are occasional yellow blazes. We had no problem following the trail. We did not see anyone until back at York Pond Rd. |
