Comments
Comments: I put Adams in as the peak to help with searching, although it was never our plan to summit. Adina and I had planned to check out some alpine flowers, hit Star Lake, and either explore around the RMC trails/camps/shelters (option 1) or head up King Ravine for some T-25 fun (option 2). The higher summit forecast sounded like there might have been some ice/frost overnight so we decided to go with option 1, then we ran into the sign advising that the bridge was out on Randolph Path and the crossing was impassable. Never having been to that bridge/crossing, we took the RMC's word for it and headed into the ravine to see how option 2 looked. Conditions were perfect, rock nice and dry, had a great time working our way up King Ravine. Alpine flowers are starting to show but probably need another week or two according to my flower expert (Adina). Stopped by the hut for some apple cake and hot soup, wandered over to Star Lake and the Parapet, then called it a day and bounced down Valley Way.
