Recommended Equipment:
Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: All crossings on Falling Waters were low rock hops and doable today. I ascended this trail today but descending would have been ok too.
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Several blowdowns blocking the trail on FW starting about 9/10ths from the parking lot until about 1.5 miles. 8-12” in diameter trunks. People are eroding paths around them.
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Saw several happy ones. Plenty of water on FW trail but none across the ridge or descending OBP after the hut.
Bugs
Bugs: They were out at the lower elevations flying into eyes, nose, mouth, ears. Annoying.
Lost and Found
Lost and Found: n/a
