I parked at Basin and missed the shortcut off the bike path in the AM but used it going down. |

I cut one 5" birch blowdown out of the Flume Slide trail down in the debris field. |

I havent been on Flume Slide for 15 plus years, boy it's widened out and eroded in many spots on the steep section. I did forget how nice the woods are from the Liberty junction to the Flume Brook, lot of nice old trees and closed in canopy.
