Saw 2 dogs and mine, Copper had a great day above tree line |

plenty but not biting, just annoying but the wind took care of that as soon as above treeline |

We did The Cornice from Caps Ridge to Randolph, although no real elevation gain, this trail will give you a workout and you have to focus because the rocks are jagged and the footing is anything but straightforward. Thought of doing the Edmands Cutoff but we had enough of the rough trails so went up Gulfside to Six Husbads then up to the summit. Still a small patch of snow on Gulfside going up from the junction with Randolph, that should not last very long. Great day with visibility, light wind and perfect temp. We met a few hikers, good conversation. |
