Trail is in magnificent shape. Not one blowdown,cleared water bars, well blazed and signed. |

Great dog trail, little feeder streams all the way up |

 | Bugs: |
Mosquitos were pretty hungry down low, head net and deet kept them at bay. Once I hit the spruce, they were gone, the black flys were out, but not bad at all. |

Pretty nice hike, fast trails on good dirt and not too rocky. I dont find the Emerald pool that interesting to be honest, once you go out west,pools like that are not that impressive. We will be back for Eagle Crag in a week or two via Bicknell ridge. |
