| Parking/Access Road Notes: |
Many open spots just after 7:00AM. Later the vehicles spilled out to the side of the road. Sawyer River Road is in good condition. The road is narrow in places. |

Dry Trail, Mud - Minor/Avoidable |

| Recommended Equipment: |

|
| Water Crossing Notes: |
Carrigain Brook crossing was an easy rock hop (some barely under water). There are multiple routes across the river. |
|
| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
Trail in good condition. All tree falls or leaners present no problems for passage. The large bog bridges near the junction of Signal Ridge Trail and Carrigain Notch Trail have minor deterioration near the end of some logs that are not an issue at this time. |
|
| Dog-Related Notes: |
Good for dogs. Many out today. Bring water on hot days. Not much water once the trail starts ascending from the lowlands. |
|
| Bugs: |
Mosquitoes are out and some were biting. Most prevalent down low in the wet areas. |
