Did not see a one :( Probably for the best as the day was very hot! |

Some black flies, annoying more than biting. But, the number of bees at the cairn was disturbing especially for my future daughter in law who is very allergic. |

 | Comments: |
Truly a great day to be out for a hike. Met a number of people returning from a night at Mizpah, many young kids out to hike their first peak and only one blow down seen that was easily passable.
I am writing this mostly to warn of the bees in the summit cairn. It was my understanding that previously the cairn was taken apart due to a bees nest. I am thinking it might be time to do that again! Also, anyone looking to spend any time at the summit who has a bee allergy should go prepared with any epipen! |
