Comments
Comments: From where we parked, we headed through a short stretch of tall grass, soon crossed Perry Stream, then headed through woods covered not terribly thickly with ferns and hobblebush. This undergrowth got thicker and thicker the further we went but the grade was so moderate, it was a lot less work than it could have been. We followed several what appeared to be old overgrown woods roads, heading east of the summit. We tracked slightly further east than planned, ending up on the border swath east of the cliff wall above the col. This made for an adventure as we descended, sometimes sitting and sliding to the bottom. The rest of the swath walk was an easy uphill to the jar. We headed back down to the col and into the woods. This route was slightly less overgrown as we made a direct line back to the car.
