Comments
Comments: A sunny, windy day on the Wildcats with plenty of great views! Began by hiking up the ski slopes (great views looking back), then hiked the Wildcat Ridge Trail out and back to Wildcat D and A. Trail was very dry...so different from last year, with little to no mud and very avoidable. Met two AT thru hikers along the way, Woodstock and Songbird, and a small group of backpackers heading to the Carter Notch Hut. Otherwise, I had the trail to myself.
