I never went over 25 mph. Room for cars on the right at the trail head. Look for a small white sign. 3 cars when we arrived at 8:20, 6 cars when we left at 3:30

Comments
Comments: A bushwhack made this a loop hike. Be sure to stop at the outlook on Success Trail, great views. After the Mt Success summit the trail is a little hard to follow because of all the herd paths off to the left going to the plane crash site. We just kept to the right if in doubt. After reaching Gentian Pond, we decided to bushwhack between North Bald Cap and Mt Success to save having to resubmit Mt Success. We started at 2570 ft on the Mahoosuc Trail after climbing up the hill from the pond. The first part of the bushwhack was OK. Once we got near the bottom of the hill we ran into very thick brush and small trees for quite a while. We then found a trail that we followed all the way to a logging road we had seen on Google Earth, passing by several small beaver ponds. The logging road went all the way to Success Pond Rd about 0.5 miles from our car. The bushwhack was 3 miles.
