| Comments: |
Daniel Doan Trail was fairly dry (purposefully waited for dry conditions to return because this can be a mudpit). Upper ledges were also dry.
J Trail and Kodak Trail on the ridge were both mostly dry.
Cross Rivendell Trail was mostly dry.
Baker Road was fairly smooth travelling (albeit progressively grassy) until about 1,300 to 1,400 feet, at which point it was almost instantly a thick meadow. We opted to do a short bushwhack to drop onto Jacobs Brook Road, then did the road walk back up to the Daniel Doan parking area.
Beautiful summer weather with sunny skies, temperatures in the 70s, and a breeze. Some folks atop Smarts and Cube, but otherwise very quiet on the trails. |
