Parked at South trailhead. Arrived around 8:30 AM and still a few spots. |

Lucy Brook still has good water. Most (all) of the side streams are dry. |

Did a lollypop look going north on Moat Mt. trail and then returning south on the Red Ridge trail back to the Moat Mt. trail. Several hikers mentioned to me that they saw a mother bear with two cubs just south of the South Moat Mt. peak. I never saw them, but people should be aware they are around. |
