| Parking/Access Road Notes: |
Large off-road lot with no other cars today. |
| Surface Conditions: |
Wet Trail, Wet/Slippery Rock, Mud - Minor/Avoidable |
| Recommended Equipment: |
| Water Crossing Notes: |
water a little high on some crossings - waterproof boots a must! |
| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
blazes in the first 2 miles were sporadic at best - would be easy to lose trail. Above that, there are around 6+ significant (chainsaw-worthy) blowdowns. Above Shingle Pond, blazes turned green. Trail thru clearing was difficult to find - I had to try a couple times to get out on the correct logging road/trail. Trailmarkers were very small!!! I considered turning the GPS on to have a track to follow back but was OK anyway. |

| Dog-Related Notes: |
good footbed most of the way - would be good for dogs - plenty of water. |
