Bushwhacked from Rte. 49 to avoid both Drakes Brook crossings. Water was running very high. Bushwhack to Sandwich Mt. Trail easy with herd paths. Bushwhack from Drakes Brook trail more challenging. |

Section of Drakes Brook Trail washed away near a feeder stream, but easy to maneuver with care. Some minor blowdowns which were all easy to climb over or under. |

Nice loop. The only people I saw was a family of four on the other side of Drakes Brook Trail. They chose not to cross it, either. |
