Bugs: There were some big red flying biting things which I haven't seen before. Mildly annoying. The black flies are long gone.

Comments
Comments: We were expecting more crowds, but with a 6am start and quick ascent, we had the ridge to ourselves at 7:30. Trails are rocky and eroded just about everywhere. The side trip to North Lafayette was well worth it. We descended on Greenleaf instead of OBP for solitude. Beautiful weather in the morning, clear skies and not hot yet.
