Comments
Comments: Amazing hike, amazing views! First 1.5 miles is relatively easy. First rock outcrop makes it all worth while. What little do you know at that point? Next mile is tough. Open ridge rock scrambles. Very do-able. Just take your time. Watch for the cairns and faint yellow dashes. Challenging but fun. Spectacular views in all directions. Many false tops. You think that must be it up ahead, but when you get there...more to go. The last bit looks daunting, but isn't any harder. I've done 22 of the 48 NH4k's and I think this may be my favorite so far. With all the stopping to take in the views, picture taking and resting at the top, the hike took almost 7 hours. Well worth it.
