Comments
Comments: Nice hike with family members from FL, for a view out over the lake. I had been on this trail only once, some years ago, and that was going down only. At the top of the actual ascent, where that short scramble over loose stone and dirt ends, we first went right, up to a slightly higher ledge. That petered out quickly in the direction of Turtleback Mtn. Coming back to the top of that last steep part, taking the left turn quickly led us to the open ledges of Bald Knob.
