Unsure of the conditions on FR 422, I parked in a small pulloff near its junction with Sandwich Notch Rd. High clearance can drive all the way down to the pond, but watch for a deep washout about 3/4 of the way down the road. Two vehicles were in the lot. |

From the notch road, I followed the side road down to the pond, where one lone human was having what I assume to have been a very peaceful paddle. |
