Plenty of parking on both sides of the trail. |

One larger water crossing towards the Kancamangus side of East Pond. Several water crossings on Little Loop but they were all bridged or rock hoppable. The one water crossing on the Tripoli side of East Pond was also bridged. |

Trail was in gorgeous shape! |

Saw one curious Golden Retriever. Would be a good one for dogs. |

Not too bad except for coming through the wet part on the Kanc side that you hit before you start gaining. |

Really loved this trail and that it could be adapted for every ability level- would probably be a really good one to take inexperienced hikers because you could bail at the pond, the loop, the height of land, or do the whole thing! Loved the potential I saw here. Pond itself was gorgeous but so was the trail- so definitely don't skip the rest if you have the time and energy to do the whole thing!
