Comments
Comments: This hike is a nice easy fun hike. The elevation gain is very gradual until the Kilkenny Ridge Trail. Even on the Kilkenny Ridge Tr the elevation gain though steep is not strenuous. A number of stone steps helps along with short level spots in between steep spots. The views from the ledge are well worth the effort. Beautiful views of the Mahoosuc Range, Carter-Moriah Range, Carter Notch, the Northern Presidentials, Unknown Pond, and the Horn. A lot of bang for your effort. The gang at the Berlin Fish Hatchery are very nice friendly people.
