| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
There is a walk-under leaner about 2.6 miles in - soon after the switchbacks begin. It is a branchy pine with all the branches trimmed. Not currently problematic but may be when the snow pack accumulates this coming winter. It is about 10” in diameter.
The cement wall of the last bridge before the parking lot (on trailhead sign side) has been vandalized and is completely covered with graffiti. Saw it when I went down the embankment to let my dog swim before leaving. |

| Dog-Related Notes: |
There is reliable water along the trail for the first two miles only. May want to take extra for your pup for the 6 miles round trip back to that section. |
