Starting from parking area, walk up road just a little ways until you see a bridge… at that point take a sharp right and you’ll see a gate. Go around gate and stay on snowmobile trail for about 0.7 miles (from parking) and you’ll see a rock cairn… take a left there and start on the Bayle mountain trail. Awesome boulders to hike through then it gets steep. Trail does have red blazes to follow. Nearing the summit everything opens up and it’s pretty easy to find the summit. 360 degree views… you get your bang for your buck with this hike. Beautiful day, low humidity…. Views to the Whites were pretty. Great hike. 3.4 mile out & back hike. |
