Egads, the heat and humidity were, shall we say, less than ideal. Even though this route was completely in shade, I still melted.
I started out on Weir Road Trail, then quickly turned onto an obvious snomo trail. Gaia shows a big loop here over the summit on these trails, but in reality there is quite an extensive network of well-signed snomo routes, many of which don't show on Gaia. This allowed me to cut off some mileage on the return trip. I did a counter-clockwise loop. Near the top, I did a short bushwhack to the wooded summit, which is very flat. A high point is difficult to discern and I didn't notice any recognition. |
