We did the lollipop loop counterclockwise so it was a nice stroll up Webster then a tougher trek on the way down from Jackson. Seems most hikers were going clockwise so we met quite few other groups along the way. The views from Bugle Cliff and Webster were nice, but clouds diminished our view to the North atop Jackson. Luckily we made it back to the car and had just hit the road when the skies really opened up, dodged the bullet on that one! Trails were really dry, with only the occasional muddy spot or wet rock which were mostly avoidable. Great way to escape the heat we're having further south. |
