Parking/Access Road Notes
Parking/Access Road Notes: Easy parking at Old Bridle path trailhead, lot was 1/4 full upon arrival around 11:30 am and full upon return. 2 portable toilets on hand and reasonably clean. There’s an iron ranger asking for SLA donations.

Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Old Bridle path is in fantastic shape, lots of fresh work seen and material set aside for future work. Trail is immaculate. Ridge trail also clear with good footpath. 1 dead step over about 150’ from parking lot needs 2 people to lift to the side.

Comments
Comments: Popular family trail, nothing difficult. A bus load of campers were enjoying the summit. Great views of Squam Lake from both summit outcrops. Some damp rocks from overnight showers but otherwise dry trail.
