 | Parking/Access Road Notes: |
First car in Mead Camp lot at 9am, my friend's was the second. About six or so at 1:30pm |

 | Surface Conditions: |
Dry Trail, Wet Trail, Mud - Minor/Avoidable |

 | Water Crossing Notes: |
Mostly stepovers, those that would be rock hops are bone dry. A couple of bridges. No problems. Used the high water re-route on Guineau Pond Trail, not sure if we needed to or not though, with water levels low, but seemed like the more pronounced footbed at the time. |
|
 | Trail Maintenance Notes: |
All trails in good shape. I cleared off some branches and some fallen saplings that were across the trail on Mead. A couple of old stepovers that are not a problem here and there. Looks like someone cleared a big blowdown fairly recently, thank you. Fresh mowing on power line crossing on Guineau Pond Tr, sounded like they were working the west side of Sandwich Notch Rd as we finished Guineau Pond Tr. |
|
 | Dog-Related Notes: |
Saw none, but good trail for dogs. Bring water, dry now, but looks like there would be spots for hydration and splashing under non-drought conditions. |

 | Comments: |
What a great loop! I had only previously done an out and back to Israel, but this loop was varied and pretty throughout. Lots of salamanders, frogs, mushrooms, glacial erratics, and pretty woods and mossy areas. Would have been nicer is streams were flowing for the sound, but not the case right now. Beede Falls flow was a mere trickle, but picturesque nonetheless. |
