Late start to the day, waited for it to warm up a bit. Absolutely beautiful day, not a cloud in the sky. Hardly a breeze on the ridge, warm! Couldn’t have had a better day tackling two more 4ks with my dog. Skipped Gibbs Falls - due to time, just another reason to come back! Saw lots of people headed down (25ish) as I was headed up saw lots of trail runners mostly at ridge and coming from Eisenhower. Larger groups on trail which surprised me until I remembered it’s the start of a holiday weekend. Saw a few AT hikers NOBO. This was 29&30 of my NE67! |
