Despite previous day/night rain, the only real crossing to speak of still was an easy enough rock hop. There were a number of minor drainage streams crossing the trails, but these were largely step-overs. |

As noted by others, the flat section of Bunnell after the York Pond trail junction has numerous short stretches in need of brushing. |

 | Comments: |
There was light rain or sprinkles, calling for rain gear, for the first half hour, then just sprinkles and tree drips for another hour or so. Low cloud ceiling eliminated any views. In general, this was a very damp hiking day, but an outing with the OTHH is always good. We had planned to do the loop to take in the Bulge and Horn, descent via Unknown Pond, but the cool dampness and there being no views killed interest in that. We encountered no other hikers until we stopped at the cabin. Then a group of six came in, having come up from another trail. After that there several other individual hikers. |
