Wasp nest fell down on the trail just before the junction. Didn't seem to be any flying out, but I gave it a wide berth. |

Trails were mostly dry.
Logging has taken place on either side of the Main Junction Trail up to the first landing. The first landing (was a meadow) has been bulldozed in preparation. Signs suggest the trails will be closed at times during the logging operation this month.
Sunny afternoon, but more humid, with temperatures around 80F. |
