 | Parking/Access Road Notes: |
Rte. 119 lot was full when I arrived, and Rte. 119 itself had lots of "No Parking" signs. There is a connecting road on the south side of 119 that probably allows parking, though. |

|
 | Water Crossing Notes: |
All well bridged. Some very wide puddles on Binney Pond Road, with frogs! |
|
 | Trail Maintenance Notes: |
Trails in great shape. Maps and signage are very helpful, and in good shape. Thanks for the somewhat recent reblazing, especially on ledges. Minor brushing needed in just a few places. |

 | Dog-Related Notes: |
None seen, possible paw prints along Binney Pond |
|
 | Bugs: |
Almost none. I love September. . . |

 | Comments: |
Perfect day for a hike on a little used, long distance trail. Great views from the ledges near Stony Top: Monadnock and a few peaks on the horizon toward due North. New Ipswich itself has no views.
Has anyone noticed bear paw prints ascending from Binney Pond to the signed overlook? Email me for a picture if you'd like to confirm via my photograph: much too long for a dog; almost as long as my boot! Deep claw/toe impression on the uphill side. |
