I love this ridge in September for the solitude and the variation of the trails, unlike the normal WMNF all rock and roots! Stayed at Rogers Ledge Tent site for the first time. Very nice, clean, secluded. Sunset on Rogers Ledge was beautiful and should have put my tent up there! (Next time). Saturday on Kilkenny/Unknown trails were perfect. Trail runners race going on and I never saw any of them. Checked out Unknown Pond Tent site for future reference. Very nice there also. This is my favorite part of the Whites, so far! |
