 | Parking/Access Road Notes: |
I was the only car that braved Hogan Rd to reach the small lot by Centennial Trail. The road had 2-3 inundated sections. My Subaru Ascent managed bur would not recommend this road for the faint of heart. Lot on jct of Hogan and North Rd full at 950am and again at 3pm |

Trail was in good condition. East Hayes pretty. No view on summit..had to continue for another 0.3 miles to ledges. Saw area damaged by fire. Thought it would be further up. A few rock scrambles and one ledgy section. I thought good trail etiquette gives uphill hikers have right of way... Especially on tricky ledgy sections! Glad we didn't lose our footing when one group descending wouldn't stop. Well, eventually half the group stopped when they realized it was easier for them to let us pass. Go figure. |
