 | Parking/Access Road Notes: |
Google maps won’t take you to the right spot for the trailhead - turn onto Church St off of Route 2 in Gorham, follow it past the cemetery to the right and keep going for a short distance and there is space to park right at the trailhead. The AMC White Mountain Guide has an accurate parking description. |

Beautiful hike, lots of great views so be sure to take your time to check out the viewpoints that are just a short distance off the trail (especially Chapel Rock). Some long bog bridges that are relatively new, some spots with a little bit of mud that’s pretty easy to avoid with rock hopping, and a couple slippery rocks when wet but nothing treacherous at all. There are a few spots where the trail intersects with mountain biking trails or fire roads that can be confusing with the fallen leaves so just be mindful of the map and blazes/signs as it is well marked where you should be going. |
