| Comments: |
As mentioned before in another TR the small amount of melting snow started around 4000'. There was no ice and no need for traction yet IMO. Had both summits to myself for over 20 minutes. Foggy and 38 degrees but very little wind. Saw two people near the Bear Pit, and two dozens near the summits and hut but saw no one on my descent along the Airline and Randolph Path. There was a moose lying in the scrub just east of the hut and not bothered by humans at all. Apparently it's been up there for a while. I'm not sure if that is normal. Great to see some fellow Hike-NHer's near the summit of Adams.
