Parking/Access Road Notes
Parking/Access Road Notes: The drive along Mill Brook Road is loose dirt/gravel and is easily passable by any vehicle. I parked off the side of the road at ~1650' near the gate to fire road 93B. There's barely enough space for a vehicle on each side of the gate without blocking it.
Surface Conditions
Surface Conditions: Dry Trail, Wet Trail, Standing/Running Water on Trail, Mud - Minor/Avoidable

Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: There were several crossing. Some were nearly dry, others crossed soggy grass.
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: The fire road is wide and easy to follow even though it is mostly covered in waist high undergrowth. There area few downed trees. The hardwood trunk at ~1700' can be stepped over however the large evergreen at ~1720' completely blocks the road and requires you to walk around the right side into mud & running water.

Comments
Comments: Shortly after crossing the snowmobile bridge at ~2060' I entered the woods on what appeared to be a herd path. I followed this for a short time but lost it as I approached the right side of an overgrown meadow. Lured by the beauty of this area I continued my ascent despite the rough and dangerous terrain of rocks, trunks, mud & water hidden within its deep underbrush. I eventually meandered right(southwest) into the thick, open woods, which although still not easy, was definitely the better choice. I continued to Currier's southern col with Mt Dartmouth and turned north for the final ascent. This area is the extremely slow going due to all the large blow downs. The summit is densely wooded but there's a small rock outcrop north, past the sign in registry and firetower cables, with impressive easterly view of the northern presis.
