Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Hank Williams had a blast. He met an older white lab and her young friend at the falls and really enjoyed running around with them while I chatted with their human. I did have to give him a boost up some slabs on zeacliff trail (he is kind of short at 38lbs) but any agiel hiking dog should be fine.
Bugs
Bugs: none
Lost and Found
Lost and Found: found a sochi headband supporting "Liz". I posted it in lost and found in the white mountains group

Comments
Comments: This was the foliage walk of wooden planks through the woods---in other words, flat until the falls. We stopped by Ethan Pond and chatted with the caretaker of the tentsite for a bit. He said tentsites are closing up Oct 10.
He also mentioned that the sunset is great at Ethan Pond but we were too tired to take advantage of that on the way out. As I mentioned, Hank met some canine friends at the falls. We also ran into a couple that recognized us
from the 52wav group. The walk along the brook was beautiful! We were at the Zeacliff trail intersection before we knew it. We chatted with a few more friendly folks there and headed up. Zeacliff was spectacular! I forgot how
pretty that view is! More pets and hugs for Hank--he was very social that afternoon. We descended and started the long walk back. Although it's a little longer than going in from zealand hut direction this was a very quiet route until
we hit the view at zeacliff.
