I mainly hike this trail in winter, so I guess I forgot how eroded it is. About halfway up is a large birch across the trail with a herd path around it. Blazing looks recently refreshed from bottom to top; the difference was especially notable on the open ledges. |

Took a walk up the "easy" way for sunset tonight. The skies remained pretty cloudy (despite the promising forecast) but it was still a lovely evening. Cool temps and just a light breeze. Had the summit to myself.
The route was mainly dry with just some minor muddy spots in the upper half. |
