Comments
Comments: A fine day for Owl's Cliff. From the viewpoint, color across the valley was almost peak. And on the summit (reached by a short unmarked herd path just before the view) the guest register in the jar is entirely filled with names & comments. Pencils still intact. Also, along the lower Brunel trail and near the bee colony, there's a bear rug on the trail. That is, a bear died there on the trail (perhaps last winter) and all that remains now is a carpet of his coarse hair. The bones and other the rest of Mr Bear having long since been consumed by the local forest custodians.
