Parking lot 1 has reopened after being regraded. Very dusty, but the smoothest its been in years. |

Trails were mostly dry. High elevation birch leaves have dropped, covering the trail/ground in places.
Haul rope on the new chairlift has been spliced, and mowing continues, so ski trails aren't as bad an option now. Base area remains an active construction zone though.
Beautiful fall day with a chilly start (slight ground frost near the summit) and a breeze, but temperatures touched 50 later in the day. High elevation foliage is past peak, but low elevation is still peak. Busy day on the trails. |
