| Parking/Access Road Notes: |
Sandwich Notch Road is passable from Waterville Valley. Many pot-holes, but nothing too bad. Proably typical for late fall.
Pull-out has only room for 2-3 cars, but cars can pull of on shoulder near trail head.

Several crossings, all rock hopable |

No blowdowns to speak of, I dragged a few off, ones there were are easy step-overs etc. |

One scramble would be tough to get a dog up and over or down. |

I descended ridge to Black Mountain Pond and returned to Algonquin Trail via an abandoned trail still in very good condition, but tricky to find at first. |
