Comments
Comments: Ascended the route of the Mittersill-Cannon hiking trail (blazed by the state years ago, then quickly shuttered by Cannon Mountain; some blazes still exist). Generally dry with the exception of some areas of the work road that are eroded down to ledge (wet in places) and a few areas of minor mud. I would not recommend hiking the main mountain, as the work road there is one of the worst in New England (heavily eroded).

Beautiful foliage colors down low.

Increasingly cloudy afternoon/early evening with a breeze and temperatures perhaps in the 60s.
