None via this route, though I could hear the brook from much further away than normal. Nevertheless, it didn't appear anyone had any issues. |

 | Comments: |
Trails were damp following yesterday's rain, in part because this side of the mountain doesn't get much direct sunlight this time of year. Most of the upper mountain leaves are down, making thing slippery in places.
Ski trails are continuing to be mowed. Construction is now mostly confined to the base area, so there isn't too much of an issue hiking the mowed ski trails at this juncture.
Foliage is now past peak in Waterville, though there are still some nice colors in places down low.
Nice fall day with sunny skies and temperatures approaching 60. Trails were very busy. |
