 | Parking/Access Road Notes: |
We were the first to arrive roadside at 7:30. 4 other cars when I got back. Room probably for 10 if everyone plays nice. |

 | Water Crossing Notes: |
after Friday's rain, many of the drainages were flowing, making for like a thousand annoying crossings. not really, but I lost count of how many times I could get my feet wet. |
|
 | Trail Maintenance Notes: |
There has been some recent work higher up with the addition of log steps. Thank you. Even though I did this as an OAB, I don't remember anything significant, so I guess no problem-os. |
|
 | Dog-Related Notes: |
saw some that looked like they were having a good time. nothing tricky for dogs. plenty of water today, but the higher up, less water. |
|
 | Bugs: |
on the descent, encounter a few clouds of annoying little flies that tried to get up my nose. mostly in the wetter, sunnier areas. |

The perfect summit to avoid the crowds and get the heart pumping. My friend & I needed this r*dline, but he also needed South Cube/Cross Rivendell, so after achieving the summit we parted ways and I retraced back to the car to pick him up on Baker Rd. Overall, the trail is very nice, a lot of stone steps. It was wet and muddy in places after Friday's rain and some slippery spots on the leaves, but no troubles if you're careful. Foliage is past peak and thin, but still gorgeous views from the ledge outlook. Saw only one couple near the top on our way up. I encountered 10 on my way down. |
