Nice parking area off of Dundee Road. |

Lower portion of the ski trail had some running water on it given recent heavy rains. There were lots of wet leaves. Otherwise trails in great shape. |

Piper had no issues and several other dogs appeared to be having a great time. |

A few swarms of flies seen on the ridge. They were not biting!! |

Beautiful warm sunny day for this hike with fantastic views at South Doublehead peak. Saw maybe a dozen other hikers with a few pups enjoying the day.

Of note to avoid the steep sections going down the New Path we descended via the Old Path back to the Doublehead Ski Path to the car. |
